Employer's Liability

Worker's Compensation doesn't cover everything and Employer's Liability is typically the second part of a Worker's Compensation policy.  This provides coverage if an employee files a lawsuit for additional damages due to employer negligence.

Most policies will only respond to very specific instances in which the employer can be found liable. Employer’s Liability coverage can sometimes be found on the General Liability policy, so it's essential you review and understand the wording on your policy.
